well...in responce to faye: clark was holding us back musicly...the songs we have now have so much more passion than before..and they are really meaning ful..like not being harsh but
you stole my heart
i want it back.....
hearing that all the time kind of makes u want to flip out!!

an ego fight??? since when was it an ego fight, i do wish u guys the best of luck and all, but i cant help feeling well betrayed but they 4 ppl who i thought were my best mates. oh well thats life i guess, good luck anyway guys!  We are your mates. Which is part of the reason why we did this. It was either that or having it all come down to a point where someone tells us we can't have a gig or get recorded unless we change the singer. I was a bit disgruntled by people comming up to us after gigs or just haning around and saying "Yeah, your band is great but the singer sucks". That happened quite a lot. We were getting a reputation as "that band with the crap singer". |

i think everyones gotta really sit up and take a look at the big picture here. graeme touched onit earlier, the fact that if the singer wasn't replaced then the bands chances of recording were going to be 0. when recording, the singer can't hide behind the loudness of the guitars or the shouting of the fans, its him and a mic, and thats where clark wouldn't have been able to cope because it would have been more obvious that his voice just wasn't up to the job. imagine if they did record with him singing on a demo? people would only slate it even more because they'd be able to clearly hear his voice.
i think the guys that follow the band around should just accept that clark is still gonna be around as a mate, but the band itself will just get a hell of a lot better, and that can only be a positive thing.

yeah just a little thing as well, the lyrics on the site that are mine eg thoughts breaking and crossed the line and killing time and walking away, yeah there not copy right 100ways forward there mine and i would at least like the respect of having my name at the bottom of the lyrics, cos thats just wrong.

yeah and also to phil, i know the stole my heart lyrics were pretty shit, but u have to remember they were really old and i had said about changing them b4 i was kicked out. the through my eyes lyrics too i didnt like them either but there u go.

its a shame u parted ways with some1 who has helped take the band to where they are now, he was their from the start, but still...ive hurd the new version of "stole My Heart" with the new lyrics, sounds well good, besides the endings of some songs your prac sounded good yesterday...the vocals seem to have more passion and its sounding good..i was liking what i hurd very much, special New Ending..that song rules!!!!...good luck u guys! ;D

i still wont be able to c u guys as 100 ways properly anymore but hey an just to let you kno its alot eaier to sing when recording because you dont strain your voice to reach over the sounds of the guitars and the crowd an you can do it at the volume your most comfterbal with but hey btw i just got to confirm with twiggy about doing the gig on the 8th if thats still goin ahead

ok, its taken me a while to write anything on this thread, coz i havent actually known what to write without backstabbing anyone, coz i love u all. Although at the moment i still think of 100ways as the five of you, i understand that theres no clark anymore, and ive felt a really positive vibe from the group and i think they're really going in the direction they want. I really hope that you guys all stay mates coz ur all such wicked ppl and i dont think there should be any friendship conflict here. Good luck to the band, and to clark, and i just wanna say to clark how proud i am of how he's handled the situation. You proved that your a hell of a lot stronger than i thought u were. xxx

i think they have all handled it really well. if it was not only a music conflict but a personality conflict then this would have been much easier to do. the fact that it was really hard just shows how close you all are. or at least thats what i think!
it will be strange seeing you perform at a 4 piece and will take some getting used to but i hope i wont have to get used to seeing you all without clark. im glad its all been so civilised instead of the war it could have easily turned into and im looking forward to the next time i can see you guys performing ;D
