John Peel has died at the age of 65. This is a sad day for all British music and radio. The linked obituary says it all. RIP PS: Here is the BBC news story for his death.

John Peel was the greatest broadcaster around. I allways tried to listen to his show, you could hear music on there that'ds you never hear anywhere else. The man was a Legend... and i'm upset.

He made radio 1 though, what a dude. 65 isnt that old, maybe if he hadnt gone 2 peru he'd still be alive? oh well enuf w/ the what ifs. R.I.P dude, xxx
