Right guys this isnt your ordinary gig notification, There arnt any bands playing
Basically what it is, is The Derelict Sessions is a new underground radio station that will be playing host to the local scene as well as remebering all the great bands and songs that made you wanna pick up the guitar or slam a stick into that new drum when you were younger.
To celebrate the launch of this amazing station they have hooked up an opening evening at the Purple turtle which will be a night of everything that youd expect, great music, loads of people and cheap beer (well why not!)
The situation for you guys in a band however is even better. When you come down on the night, and bring one of your CD's, the guys promise to give you airtime and promote your bands through their media capabilities.
Remember, John Peel started with the underground and just think if you had been one of the first few bands he played, think about the publicity and respect to your fellow musicians that would bring.
Not only that, You'll have the ability to sell ya CD's as you normally would, so the night has practically paid for itself.
Its going to be a smashing night so if your not doing anything come on down and enjoy ya self, you wont be dissapointed i promise.
Ill be on hand if anyone wants the latest LifeAsIs Cd, as will the band.
