yeah, well today i was in deep thought (was meant to do coursework) about the lack of a local based zine for the reading scene.
so been talking to some people, they said i should set up an E-Zine, (on online zine for those who cant work it out) and i was thinking i might. if its online, dont have to worry about print costs & selling it.
but before i go anywhere with it, i need a name for it and people to help me. iv got people that go to almost every local show around who said they'd help me out. also im still thinking on what areas would be covered inside. (any suggestions, post em up)
but yeah, anyone here, or anyone who knows anyone who'd help, let me know. hopefully i could actually get something going here.

sounds like a good idea.
Obvious features must include Gig Reviews and Featured Bands (like Band of the Month/Week), interviews will be cool.
There is one problem with the Reading scene, it's dominated by Street Punk... so a campaign to chase it away with pitchforks will be fun.
er... thats my ideas run out for now...

Will it be specialised on one type of music, or local music in general?
If the content is good and it's updated regular, then I'd definatly read it. I don't trust myself enought to volunteer to help though, even though I want to...

i cant keep it to one area of music, as reading seems to lack qutie a bit in certain areas.
probably cover all bands. punk/emo/indie/metal/hardcore (what few there are)
the only name iv come out with in talking about it with people, has been 'Push The Panic' but .. i dont know.
so far, i see...
local scene news
gig/show reviews
cd & demo reviews
exposure on new bands (similar to what they do in Rocksound)
interviews with a big band (or two) on the scene (this band would probably be on the cover too)
a few writers columns (of whatever they want)
bit of advertising from local labels & promotion groups
and various other stuff .. which i havent thought of yet
i think there is a small chance this could go somewhere
